Colocation (physical server hosting) is a service in which an organization rents space in a data center for its IT equipment. Colocation allows organizations to use a reliable and secure infrastructure without having to invest in setting up and maintaining their own server rooms.
The customer retains full control over its equipment and data, while the data center provides the technical infrastructure necessary for its uninterrupted operation.
